Probst Maveg SA
Probst Maveg SA is one of the oldest HITACHI dealers and also the exclusive trader of the brand in Switzerland. This customer came into the Kocurek fold for the first time in 2008 when they awarded us the very tangible job to supply them with telescopic ultra high reach demolition booms for 3 HITACHI ZX670. The interesting development with this first order was that Probst Maveg has a patent on the design of this special modular joint which is sold under the trade name "OMLOCK". We now build this item for them to their design and incorporate this into their orders. The first equipment went into service with customer "KIBAG" giving the following duties:
- operating either a 3'500 kg attachment at a 34 m working pin height.
- or operating a 4'000 kg attachment with the telescopic boom fully retracted
The second equipment, which went into production late spring 2009, offers the following duties with customer Orllati:
- operating either a 2'000 kg attachment at a 40 m working pin height
- or operating a 5'000 kg attachment at a 26 m working pin height with an additional extra heavy duty rig
The above mentioned orders also both incorporate hydraulic undercarriage and hydraulically removable counterweight. More machines and equipment with specific duties/working parameters are under development.
