This company specialise in heavy structure demolition such as road and rail bridges which have to be taken down to a tight deadline that can involve “possessions” with penalties for missing deadlines. In 2006 we converted a Hitachi ZX650 to incorporate our 2-position modular joint (conventional and straight). The machine has continued to work to the customers satisfaction but they have noticed a demand to get a bigger working pin height whilst at the same time, because of the structures they demolish, they must use larger shears, hammers, sorting grabs etc. Earlier this year the Mclean Brothers (Adrian and Noel) decided to address this missing link in their armoury by entrusting us to supply a 3-piece x 29m Heavy Duty Demolition Rig capable of being fitted to their existing modular joint and utilising up to 4000 kgs attachments. Our supply also included the fitting of extra counterweight between the engine and the standard counterweight.
