This customer is the Hitachi Dealer for Belgium and we have just completed an order to supply ultra high reach demolition equipment on a new Hitachi ZX870 that will give the following duties:
8.25m Dipper
- 30m (30625mm) teleboom closed with 4500 kgs attachment
- 35m (35100mm) teleboom 50% open with 4000 kgs attachment
- 40m (39574mm) teleboom fully open with 3500 kgs attachment
Note An alternative supply could have been 10.5m Dipper 42m (41738mm) teleboom fully open with 2500 kgs attachment.
Our supply also included our now well proven modular joint (over 250 units working in the marketplace since 1998). The undercarriage was also modified by lengthening equivalent to 2 bottom rollers and to hydraulic extend the width by almost 1m each side. This machine also included up-rating boom hoist cylinders and the more recent innovation to hydraulically remove the counterweight for transport and was sold to end user customer Koole/VDS - Belguim.
