Kocurek Expands Sales Team
Kocurek Excavators Ltd has appointed Alistair Janson to join the company’s sales team. With more than 30 years experience in front-line construction equipment sales under his belt, the majority of them spent specialising in the demolition industry, Janson brings with him unparalleled experience in this demanding industry sector, a fact that highlights Kocurek’s determination to retain its world-leading position.
“During his time with Volvo Construction Equipment, Liebherr and former UK Caterpillar dealer H. Leverton Limited, Alistair has continually demonstrated an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the demolition sector that will make him a key addition to our team,” says General Manager Brian Carroll. “He is well-respected across the industry and he already knows our product offering extremely well. In many ways, he is the perfect addition to our team.”
Janson is similarly enthusiastic about the move. “In all of my previous roles, I have worked alongside the team at Kocurek and I have always admired both their product and the way they do business. Although they’re a world-beater in their field, it still feels like a family business in which customers are the most valuable asset,” he explains. “I enjoyed my time with the big OEM companies but in an industry that demands highly specialised and individual equipment, it was often frustrating that the corporate wheels turned so slowly. Here at Kocurek, the lines of communication are extremely short and decisions are made almost instantly, ensuring that we can offer a high degree of responsiveness to customer demands.”
Together with industry veteran Ron Callan, Janson will be responsible for global sales of Kocurek’s unique range of excavator modifications, long and high reach booms that have already earned the company its market-dominating position.
