Kocurek in April Fool prank
Let's face it; it's been pretty tough out there over the past year or more and none of us have had a great deal to smile about.
However, with the guys at demolitionnews.com, we did our very best to lift the gloom on 1 April (April Fool's Day) with a spoof story on the launch of a new Kocurek product: The Wobble Boom.
Although the story was totally ludicrous - it suggested that we had used a rubber/steel alloy to create a bendy high reach boom that could be stretched to ridiculous heights, it was exceptionally well-received. In fact, it was demolitionnews.com's most-viewed story of 2010 and the second most-viewed story in the website's history. The story also attracted a number of amusing comments.
