We’re currently recruiting for additional CAD Engineers to assist in designing and detailing bespoke heavy plant products for unique customer requirements as well as developing our current product range.
Key responsibilities:
· Designing the equipment & parts required for complete in-house manufacture of a high value, low volume or one-off product
· Producing 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of new components, weldments & assemblies
· Virtual & practical testing, FEA, R&D, mathematical modelling
· Customer (end user, dealer/distributor & major OEM) liaison
· Creating technical product documents & CAD generated presentation media
3D CAD modelling & 2D draughting capabilities are essential as is enthusiasm, quick-thinking, accuracy, attention to detail and flexibility. Understanding of hydraulic systems and cylinders would be an advantage.
