Long Reach

Kocurek manufactures long front equipment for machines from 1.5 tons to 120 tons. Experience has been gained in this field over the past 20 years in all applications from relativity light duty work on waterway maintenance to heavy-duty production work in sand and gravel extraction.

The size of machine falls into six basic categories which are 1.5 to 9 tons, 20 tons, 35 tons, 45 tons, 60 tons, and 80 tons plus, within these categories there are numerous variations to satisfy most customers requirements.

All equipment is manufactured in WELDOX high strength steel to ensure the lowest weight consistent with a long working life.

The above rigs can be shipped and assembled on site with the aid of a crane, a forklift and a competent fitter.

Standard scope of supply will consist of:

New boom and dipper fabrications utilising existing boom hoist and dipper rams.
Steel and flexible pipework for standard services and 1 off aux. service.
Additional counterweight.
Special bucket ram and bucket linkage (if necessary - see table above).
CE marked.
Shotblast and paint to suit donor machine.
